*Please note that if you are making a purchase, you are agreeing that you have read and agreed to all of the following policies!*

-Due to the un-predictable nature of horses and/or other livestock/pets/animals and all activities surrounding them, Texas Bound Tack and its affiliates, workers, and owner(s) cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage caused while using any of our products.

Terms of Services

All turn around times are found on the Home page.

Please be aware that not all turn around times are guaranteed as we may be working behind or ahead of schedule. 

 

Refund Policy

  • We CANNOT return Custom/Used items.
  • Returns must be made within 30 days.  (ONLY on unused in-stock items)
  • Returns are allowed ONLY on items if purchased from our "In Stock" page (MUST BE UNUSED. SHIPPING IS AT CUSTOMERS EXPENSE).

 

Shipping Policy

  • Due to PayPals policies, we will ship to the address on PayPal and not any other address. Make sure your address is correct before placing your order. We are not responsible if you entered the wrong address.
  • Once items have been shipped, we do NOT have control over them. Please contact the post office if you're concerned about the whereabouts of your items.
  • A picture of your custom item will be e-mailed/messaged to you upon completion. You have 48 hours to approve or else it will be shipped out without approval and we are not liable if something is incorrect. We will send you the tracking number once we ship your item(s). If you do not receive your tracking number, please send us an email and we will resend it. 
  • Once you place your order, we do not offer cancelations. All sales whether they be custom or from our in-stock page are final. 
  • Please do not ask to change something once you've placed an order, as we order most of the supplies for your order within 24 hours. If something must be changed, please email/call us to discuss. This may result in a $15.00 order change fee.
  • If you need your item(s) by a specific date, you will need to tell us before you places your order or we cannot guarantee it will be there by that date. This will be subject to a rush order fee of $30.00 as we do have other orders, as well as shipping costs for sooner delivery. 
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and for any reason. 
  • You must be 18 years or older to order.  
  • Additional Insurance can be purchased at the customers expense. $50.00 is included for free through USPS.

Dog Collars

**If you are ordering a dog collar, please be aware that they should be used as “Going Out Collars” and not for extreme pullers or dogs who tend to bolt. We do not recommend tying your dog to something (horse trailer, post, fence etc) as accidents can happen and cause the leather to break just like if your horse gets caught on something, you want it to break so the animal does not get injured. We will not refund/remake. 

Sizing

**If you are ordering something that needs custom sizing.** Measurements are the responsibility of the customer, if you measured incorrectly, we are not responsible for it not fitting properly. We can look to see if we can fix it, but a fee will be applied. If we are not notified on you needing custom sizing, we will assume it is standard sizing (horse, dog exc.). If it does not fit we can look into resizing the item for a fee or we can discuss a replacement. Please let us know if something needs to be sized in the “Special Instructions” area on any Custom ordering screen.

Matching Saddles and Other Leather Goods

We CANNOT guarantee your tack/leather-good will match your saddle/products EXACTLY. We will try our very best but we cannot 100% guarantee this. You can Email/Facebook Message us a picture of the color you would like us to TRY to match, but again we cannot guarantee a 100% match. 

 

 

        HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR TACK

(We send these care sheets out with every order to make sure you get the full life of the tack as we understand they are an investment.)

 

 

-Conchos should be checked and tightened after a couple uses to make sure they are still on strong, and again every couple of months to avoid the loss of the Conchos/hardware.

 

 

-Keep your items in a dry location when you are not using them.

 

 

-Oil your leather items a few times a year to prevent cracking/drying out. Do not over oil.

 

 

-If you choose a sued option for inlay, be careful not to get oil on it as it may cause discoloration.

 

 

-All leather items should be cleaned after heavy sweating to avoid corrosion of hardware.

 

 

-For thorough cleaning you can use warm soapy water, or we use saddle/leather soap to do our cleanings.

 

 

-You can clean your tack/hardware with baby wipes or warm soapy water on a paper towel (not too much soap) if sweaty or dusty.

 

 

-We recommend hanging tack with fringe so it stays straight.

 

 

-We do not replace lost Conchos. It is your responsibility to check your tack/leather goods to make sure screws are tight and are not becoming loose. We recommend tightening your Conchos a week or two after use to make sure they are not becoming loose as leather breaks in. If you lose a Concho you can let me know, and I can look into order you new ones, but this will be at YOUR cost, and shipping fees will apply.

 

 

-We are NOT the makers of our hardware (Conchos, spots, screws, buckles etc.) we are not responsible for any breaks or failure of the hardware. We do try to get quality hardware, but we cannot fully guarantee them as we do not make them!

We do offer to fix issues with your tack as long as they have not been abused/neglected. All of our products are handmade by my husband and myself. We put together everything by hand. If you are having an issue with your tack please email/call us and we can discuss a game plan to get this fixed for you (if it is fixable). We are willing to fix anything for a small charge depending on the situation.
